Request a foundation evaluation
Call if something changed fast, like a wall that moved after a big thaw or water pouring in at a crack. Otherwise, send a request and a contractor will call you back.
Before you call
These details help the contractor come prepared:
- Your town, and whether you're inside Cheyenne city limits or in the county
- Basement, walkout, crawl space or slab, if you know
- Poured concrete, block, brick or stone walls
- What you're seeing: cracks, a leaning wall, a lifted floor, sticking doors, water
- When it started and whether it's getting worse
- Paperwork from any earlier repairs or inspections
Measure before the visit. Hold a 4-foot level against any wall you think is leaning and note how far the bubble is off, then photograph cracks with a ruler next to them. A few dated measurements show more than any description.
